I created this piece for the show PRESERVE _________., organized by the amazing Randi Haugland, Kate Giambrone, and Olivia Mitchell. The show took place at the Architectural Heritage Center, and the brief was to create a piece based around what aspect of our rapidly changing city of Portland we felt was important to preserve. For me, one of the things closest to my heart is our library system. It's where I spent a huge portion of my childhood, and something I want future children of Portland to be able to experience with as much joy as I did.
